Does dealcoholized red wine lower cholesterol and have other health benefits as alcoholized red wine?

   I would think so. you can drink purple (concord) grape juice and get similar health benefits.

   Wendy is right, many of the same anti-oxidant benefits of red wine can be found in grape juice. However, the blood thinning effects that are caused by beer and wine cannot.
